Your details, kept simple

We're a band, not a data company. Here's exactly what we keep and why.

Who we are

Never Dakota is a covers band based in Northampton, UK. If you've got a question about your details, email neverdakotaband@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Booking requests: your name, email, phone number, and the details of your venue and event that you type into the form.
  • Contact form: your name, email, phone number if you give it, and your message.
  • Emails: anything you send us by email, and our replies.

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't track you around the web.

What we use it for

Only to reply to you, quote for and organise your booking, and keep a record of the gigs we've played. We never sell your details or add you to a mailing list.

Where it's kept

Form submissions are stored with Netlify, who host this website. Emails are kept in our Gmail account, and confirmed gigs go in our Google Calendar. Our own admin tools read and send email from our Gmail account only to manage bookings; that information isn't shared with anyone else or used for anything else.

The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, which means Google sees your IP address when the page loads.

How long we keep it

As long as we need it to sort out your booking and keep sensible records afterwards. Ask us and we'll delete it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the details we hold about you, have them corrected, or have them deleted. Just email us. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
